Die Ausstellung «Alex Hanimann. Human Nature» präsentiert erstmals in einem Schweizer Museum das komplexe und umfangreiche fotografische Werk, das der Künstler in den letzten 20 Jahren geschaffen hat.

Human Nature» präsentiert erstmals in einem Schweizer Museum das komplexe und umfangreiche fotografische Werk, das der Künstler in den letzten 20 Jahren geschaffen hat. Die vielschichtige und facettenreiche Verwendung des Bildes in unserer Kultur findet in seinen Werken eine direkte Entsprechung. Hanimann befasst sich mit einem breiten Spektrum von Themen und Inhalten, deren Form und Umsetzung stark von der uns umgebenden visuellen Welt inspiriert sind. Bezugnahmen auf den urbanen Raum oder die Natur – mit ihrer Wandelbarkeit und ihrem ständigen Fluss – wechseln sich ab mit Inszenierungen von Objekten, Orten und Menschen.
Die Ausstellung «Alex Hanimann. Human Nature» lädt dazu ein, diesen visuellen Reichtum und die Tiefe von Hanimanns künstlerischer Arbeit, die zwischen objektiver Realität und Fiktion schwebt, zu entdecken.
