Bauernmarkt
Overview
Intro
Every year—from June through the Saturday one week before the first Sunday of Advent—the popular farmers' market takes place on the church square in Heiden.
Local farmers and small-scale artisans sell their products at this market. Depending on the season, the stalls surprise us with a “delicious” selection of fruits and vegetables. Depending on the season, you’ll find berries, cheese, eggs, meat products, bread, pastries, honey, and other farm products. Colorful bouquets and handmade crafts are also available. Participating vendors include farming families and small artisans from Heiden, Walzenhausen, Teufen, and Oberegg.
