Cinema: Schellen-Ursli
Overview
Intro
The classic children's book “Schellen-Ursli” from 1945, written by Selina Chönz and illustrated by Alois Carigiet, has been made into a film in Graubünden by central Swiss director Xavier Koller
The boy Ursli, actually Uorsin, felt that his pride had been hurt and didn't want to be “Schellen-Ursli” at Chalandamarz, but wanted to wear his own big bell. He dares to do a lot for it. Filmmaker Koller has enriched the well-known story with some exciting moments and characters rooted in the Engadin. An exciting family drama.
