Cows descent from the Alpine Pastures
Overview
Intro
Mid-September. At the end of summer, it is time to admire the cows herds coming back to the villages from the alpine pastures.
Dates may change depending on weather conditions.
2026 Programme:
10:30 a\.m\. \| Departure of the parade of flower\-decorated queen cows from the Rouaz alpine pasture, following the Crêt path
11:30 a\.m\. \| Parade through the village towards Place de la Praz
From 12:00 p\.m\. \| Food stalls and cows at Place de la Praz, alpine cheese sale
