Intro
During her staged reading, Stadlin enhances the action with subtle props that bring the story to life even more vividly.
A very special literary star has recently risen in Zug: “Le petit prince,” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s world-famous work, has been translated into the Zug dialect.
Zug German is the dialect that is easily understood throughout Switzerland.
Writer and performing artist Judith Stadlin has given Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s well-known classic a new voice—one that strikes right at the heart of Switzerland. It’s called *DE CHLY PRINZ*.
This story is captivating, and its content, with its archetypal characters, remains highly relevant today. The thoroughly poetic story touches both children and adults with its vivid imagery and powerful symbolism.
Everyone understands it, and everyone can let their own diverse interpretations run wild. Now, the well-known author and actress is on tour with her Swiss German stage reading, DE CHLY PRINZ.
DE CHLY PRINZ is a hybrid event for children accompanied by adults, teenagers, and adults.
