Intro

Through the exhibition "Beyond Architecture," the Audiovisual Archive of Capriasca and Val Colla presents for the first time to the public an important and impressive photographic fund that recently entered

Originally from Tesserete, Besomi trained as an architect at the Brera Academy and then continued as a master builder at the Marazzi architectural firm in Lugano.

A figure already known to most in Capriasca, it will be interesting for visitors to discover unpublished snapshots of the progress of famous construction sites (think of the Lido in Lugano, the small church in Gola di Lago and the oratory in Tesserete), as well as his passion for portraits and documenting small-scale events.

Because of the great relevance and particularity of its contents, the Besomi fund has enjoyed support from the Memoriav association, which has enabled its digitization in its entirety.
