Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bex Salt Mines, this is a show not to be missed!
Colombe and Isabeau join the 300 miners at the Bex Salt Mines. As newcomers, they must prove themselves. But who is Colombe, and what is he really after? Why is the foreman stealing salt and brine? Will the pastor and the cantonal engineer manage to prevent the closure of the Mines? And what secrets does that enigmatic hermit, who seems to know everything, harbour?
Through intrigue, humour and emotion, the show immerses the audience in the miners’ daily lives: their hopes, their sorrows, their courage and their madness. We also discover the salt extraction processes, brought to life by a singer-guitarist who seems to make the soul of the mountain resonate.
