From January 24 to 26, 2025, several FIS Cross-Country World Cup races will take place in the Engadin.
This makes the valley the official venue for the COOP FIS Cross-Country World Cup, which will be held in Silvaplana-Surlej every two years in future. Around 200 international athletes from the cross-country skiing elite will compete in five competitions over the three World Cup days in the Upper Engadine.
