Exposition François Jaques - A-B & M-B 2022-2026

Depuis sa dernière exposition à la galerie, François Jaques poursuit sa recherche dans la transparence, dans ce jeu entre les couches de pigments déposées sur la surface et ensuite savamment poncées pour obtenir des effets particuliers. Il présente à la Galerie 2016 une nouvelle série de travaux réalisés ces derniers mois.

(...) Les quêtes incessantes de François Jaques de vouloir associer à des plaques de plexiglas des pigments multicolores et des solvants systématiquement poncés, creusés, polis, débouchent désormais sur des œuvres qui allient transparence et profondeur pour magnifier des constellations colorées.

Aujourd’hui, après avoir choisi comme base de son travail des carrés, il se concentre exclusivement sur des cercles, des disques, des ronds. Cette figure n’est-elle point la symbolisation de la plénitude, du cycle de la vie, de la perfection, de l’infini ? Sans conteste, elle est associée au sacré et aux divinités. (...)

Vernissage le samedi 22 août de 16h à 19h avec présentation de l'artiste par Patrice Allanfranchini à 17h.

Galerie ouverte du mercredi au dimanche de 14h à 18h du 23 août au 27 septembre.
