Intro
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the Giro d'Italia will pass through the Bellinzona area and the Three Valleys! From Bellinzona to Carì, 113 km of champion sprints and cycling thrills await.
A challenging route with the Leontica and Torre climbs to be repeated twice before the finish at 1,644 meters. A day of great sport to celebrate together to promote our unique beauty. Ready to follow the Pink Caravan?
In Ticino, to celebrate the announcement, seven iconic monuments were illuminated in pink, creating a strong visual impact in support of the event. In this first phase of the project, the lighting featured a representative icon from each of the regions involved: the Bellinzona Fortress, the Romanesque Santa Petronilla Bridge in Biasca, the Cima Norma factory, Serravalle Castle, and the Church of Negrentino in the Blenio Valley, as well as the Piumogna waterfall and the church of Calonico in the Leventina Valley.

On the occasion of the Bellinzona–Carì stage of the Giro d’Italia 2026, special packages are offered, allowing you to stay in accommodations in the region while enjoying additional activities in the days leading up to the major cycling event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
