Den Begriff Götterfunken kennen wir bestens aus Schillers Gedicht An die Freude, das Beethoven eindringlich in seiner 9. Symphonie vertont hat. Schiller greift damit auf antike Vorstellungen zurück und beschreibt die Freude als etwas Göttliches, das die Menschen verbindet.
