Intro
Open-air cinema in the unique setting of the Château d'Aigle, for an evening under the stars.
**Aigle Tourisme invites you to a special cinema evening at the Château d'Aigle for a screening of the film ‘Intouchables’ (The Intouchables)**
Directed by *Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano*
Film synopsis:
‘The Intouchables’ tells the story of Philippe, a wealthy man who became quadriplegic following a paragliding accident. Needing daily assistance, he hires Driss, a young man from the suburbs who came to the interview mainly to get a signature so he could claim his benefits. Despite his lack of experience, Philippe appreciates his natural manner and decides to hire him.
Over time, a very strong friendship develops between them. Driss brings joy, humour and energy into Philippe’s life, which had become very monotonous. For his part, Philippe helps Driss to gain self-confidence and find a better direction in his life.
Thanks to their bond, each learns from the other and overcomes their prejudices. The film shows that two completely different people can understand and help one another. Blending humour and emotion, this story, inspired by real events, is above all about friendship, respect and solidarity.
