The quartet has developed a repertoire over two decades of playing together, characterized by Afro-Caribbean jazz sounds.

The calypso, originally originating in Trinidad, spread throughout the Caribbean and gained popularity in the USA in the late 1950s through Harry Belafonte.
Its influence on jazz is still audible today and forms the stylistic centerpiece of the program.
This is complemented by bossa and Latin pieces as well as selected jazz and soul classics.
With great joy in playing, "Padre Padrone" creates groovy, subtle, and empathetic musical moments.
