Il Museo Casa Rusca è felice di ospitare la prima personale in un museo Svizzero dedicata a Monia Ben Hamouda.

Il Museo Casa Rusca è felice di ospitare la prima personale in un museo Svizzero dedicata a Monia Ben Hamouda. Artista emergente italo-tunisina tra le figure più interessanti in Italia, la sua ricerca artistica esplora le diverse identità culturali e le loro tradizioni iconografiche, cercando di approfondire la conoscenza, le tradizioni e la storia del mondo arabo, attraverso sculture, installazioni, dipinti di grandi dimensioni realizzate utilizzando diversi materiali, dal ferro al legno fino alle spezie. Oltre ad alcuni suoi lavori precedenti, saranno esposti anche nuove opere scultoree e installazioni realizzate proprio per questa esibizione, curata da Gioia Dal Molin, storica dell’arte, curatrice, scrittrice e, da giugno 2025, direttrice del Haus für Kunst Uri ad Altdorf.

Oltre alla mostra su Monia Ben Hamouda, il Museo Casa Rusca ospita anche un’esibizione collettiva – sempre curata da Gioia Dal Molin – centrata sull’artista, danzatrice e coreografa Simone Forti e su artiste e artisti che dalle sue opere e dal suo lavoro sul corpo hanno tratto ispirazione, perseguendo approcci affini.
