Planned tour program
Day 1: Meeting point at 2.05 pm at Reichenau station. Take the bus of the mountain sports school to the Kunkelspass, 1357 m. From here we climb on foot to Grossalp, 1833 m, and on to Ringelspitzhütte, 2000 m. We check into our room, have dinner together and discuss the tour. 650 vertical meters, ascent time approx. 2 hours.
Day 2: Ascent via Berghüttli and Sandboden to the foot of the Ringelspitz, which we climb easily via the Mittelgrätli and the airy summit tower. From the Ringelspitz, 3248 m, we descend after a short abseil via the Tschepband in the western flank towards Crap Mats back to the hut. After a well-earned break, we descend to the Kunkelspass and Tamins. End of course and journey home. 1250 vertical meters, ascent time approx. 5 hours, total walking time approx. 10 hours.
