At dawn, a gruesome discovery is made at the Weggis fitness center: The body of employee Cynthia Schliter lies amid the exercise equipment. A murder — committed in cold blood, mysterious, and leaving no obvious clues.
Detectives Huber and Meyer investigate every lead. They quickly realize that every person they question had either a compelling motive or a suspiciously good opportunity. Nothing is clear-cut; everything seems possible.
Huber and Meyer refuse to be fooled by flimsy excuses or skillfully feigned innocence, and they confidently solve the case with some unexpected help.
