Intro

With many stations for seeing, hearing and playing, the exhibition is a unique experience for all generations.

In 1974, plastic toy figures with smiling faces revolutionized the toy market - Playmobil was born. In 2024, the Swiss Children's Museum is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the German toy classic with the exhibition "PLAYMOBIL - Small Worlds, Big Dreams".

In collaboration with diorama artist Oliver Schaffer, the history of Playmobil will be honored, the diversity of the simple figures will be shown and visitors will be able to experience how they stimulate creativity. Small and large dioramas conceal a number of secrets and encourage visitors to take a closer look.
