Insights into the ALP Summer Lab 2026
Initiated by Kulturstiftung St. Moritz, the «ALP Sommerlabor 2026» invites mentors, students and the public to explore alpine landscapes of perception together.
Within this context, sound artist Fabian Gutscher leads a sound walk in conversation with Johannes Hedinger. Using acoustic findings collected during the summer lab in and around St. Moritz, the walk raises questions about silence, soundscapes and our sense of time.
The walk starts at the Forum Paracelsus and follows the lakeshore to the Chesa da Cultura. There, a temporary installation by sculptor Sara Masüger, developed with students, provides the setting for a conversation with critic and author Jan Verwoert about spaces for thinking and acting, and how sounds can turn into ideas.
