UNESCO World Heritage properties in Switzerland open their doors and invite you to enter the world of our heritage with unique experiences!
CASTEL GRANDE
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Courtyard Concert with the New Azzan Big Band *
The historic ensemble will bring its engaging jazz and swing repertoire to Castel Grande. With more than 20 musicians, the band will fill the castle’s inner courtyard with energy and vibrant music.
2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Guided Tour with Local Artist Ivo Soldini **
The artist will guide visitors through the exhibition “Progetto Castel Grande”, featuring monumental sculptures and more than sixty previously unseen paintings, while sharing his creative vision and the process behind his works.
3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Music at the Castle with JaBras *
A concert blending bossa nova, samba and jazz, featuring saxophonist Mirko Roccato and guitarist Fabio Mignola. A musical journey inspired by the great Brazilian classics.
MONTEBELLO CASTLE
2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – The Storyteller in the Courtyard *
Andrea Jacot Descombes presents narrated and sung stories for children, with short performances taking place throughout the afternoon.
Free shuttle service between Largo Elvezia and Montebello Castle from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
SASSO CORBARO CASTLE
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Guided Tour of the Exhibition “Fra Roberto Within the Walls” **
Co-curator Maria Will will accompany visitors on a journey through the work of Fra Roberto Pasotti, where art and faith are closely intertwined.
From 11:30 a.m. – Aperitif at Osteria Sasso Corbaro
The Osteria will welcome visitors with gourmet sandwiches and grilled specialties to be enjoyed in the charming courtyard of the castle.
