The international Würth Group is headquartered in Chur. The company’s presence enhances Chur’s economy and its headquarters building is regarded as a special gem by those tourists who are interested in culture. Its distinctive architecture is greatly admired as are the exhibits at the Forum Würth Chur.
Glass panels are placed at regular intervals over the three upper storeys, forming a screen which reacts to sunlight. Between the panels, you can see red stripes, which warm the cool-looking facade visually. Architects: Dieter Jüngling and Andreas Hagmann.
The publicly accessible Forum Würth Chur is located inside the building. Here, changing exhibitions are hosted several times a year and are mostly assembled from the Würth collection’s over 16,000 exhibits. The exhibition is enhanced by an attractive accompanying programme. Admission is free. Regular cultural events such as jazz and classical concerts, comedy or gospel music are also held in the auditorium.
