Intro
Harvesting cherries, apples, pears and damsons requires enormous manual effort and a lot of time. You can officially help local growers in the Aargau Jura to pick these delicious fruits.
As summer approaches, sweet and healthy cherries ripen on the pedigree trees in Aargau Jura Park. Cherries are harvested in June and July; there is an online list of fruit growers who are glad for volunteers to register to help with picking.
Working in the fresh air, climbing the ladders, nibbling the cherries and contact with local producers: an unforgettable experience! Not all helpers need to climb to the top of the ladders. Cherries and other products can be obtained direct from the farm in the evening. You couldn't get fresher fruit!
Other fruits are harvested later in summer, when helpers are also required
