Intro
Visitors just love the warmth and hospitality they encounter when visiting Baden, and that of the local markets in particular.
The Weekly Market is held on the Badstrasse every Saturday and, from March to November, on Tuesdays also. Vendor stands offer a wonderful variety of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, flowers and specialities. The monthly Flea Market on the Theaterplatz is held once a month. Here you can browse among used items of all descriptions. In addition to the Jahrmarkt fair, which takes place in the inner city each May and November, there is a Christmas market held in December. Here, stalls extend across the Weite Gasse and the church square, while at the Advent Market on the church square the items on sale are all made in sheltered workshops by people with disabilities.
