Intro

Two gondola railways make their way up from Bad Ragaz or Wangs to the edge of the forest, from where you enjoy far-reaching views over the Rhine Valley to Lake Constance – and chairlifts carrying you to the Pizol ridge if you wish to venture further afield.

The five lakes hike from the mountain station and back to Alp Gaffia notably attracts visitors wanting to see the many delightful shades of the crystal clear waters – while alpinists often opt for the climbing garden or climbing the Pizol summit to get their fill of adventure.

And further down there’s more to discover on the Garmil-Geohöhenweg (highland trail) with available smartphone information, Heidi’s gondola railway for children, water-woods and bird village on the Furt, the Heidi trail or hammock woods to hang around a while, Kneipp facility for kids and storytale magic in the Pardiel region.
