Description
This easy and very accessible winter hike starts at the upper station of the La Berra cable car. The approximately two-kilometre walk along the Crête du Cousimbert offers a 360° view of the La Gruyère region. To the left: Lake Gruyère, which lies at the foot of the Gibloux. On the other side, the Fribourg peaks rise up from beneath the glistening snow.
This leisurely winter hike poses no major difficulties. It is a perfect way to enjoy a beautiful, sunny day to the full. The way back follows the same route along the ridge.
More experiences
There is much more to experience in this region, as La Berra is located in the heart of the canton of Fribourg and is the ideal place for skiing and snowboarding for all levels. Take a break at the Chalet de La Berra, where you can enjoy a delicious meal in a cosy atmosphere in an Alpine hut typical of the region. Typical local and seasonal dishes are served, which are prepared with care and lots of love.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
