Overview
Intro
From Rheinfelden over the forested Steppberg and the long ridge of the Magdener Galgen to Zeiningen An easy hike with beautiful viewpoints.
Description
This hike starts at the railway station in Rheinfelden, which used to be home to the Zähringer noble family. The route leads over the forested Steppberg to the long crest of the Magdener Galgen and then follows this crest to the observation tower and picnic spot on the Sonnenberg. The views from the tower are magnificent in all directions. Following a ridge, the trail drops down into Zeiningen, where it is worthwhile visiting St. Agatha Church.
