Description
A fast pace on the former mule track – this is how the bike tour from Grimselpass down to Obergesteln presents itself. Look forward to the next 11 kilometres, where over 800 altitude metres await you. At first you follow the old bridle path along Totensee in a southerly direction. Worn paving slabs bear witness to countless hoof steps of pack animals. Soon you leave the vibrant life on the Grimselpass behind you and a charming alpine landscape awaits you.
A great mountain panorama now appears. The wild Gerental with its craggy, towering mountains gives way to rolling mountain peaks and the charming valley basin. As far as Unnerbrunnji you follow the bridle path. Then a forest trail leads you down into the valley. Would you like to discover something traditional? In Obergesteln an agricultural trail awaits you with surprising informations about the traditional cultural landscape.
