An ideal starting point for a mountain bike outing, Col des Mosses and its surrounding landscape offer tracks that are accessible to all levels. For well trained legs but also for amateurs, Col des Mosses offers a network of varied MB circuits.
Description
This marked and maintained Mountain Bike Route crosses the region of Col des Mosses though forests and pastures. It offers a route that is accessible to a wide range bike aficionados. This amazing natural playground enables you to fully experiment the winding forest trails sets in a postcard like environment.
Leaving from Les Mosses, the route drops rapidly towards Arsat before a rather steep climb revealing a beautiful view of les Mosses. This sunny location as well as large green pastures crossed during the second part of the journey promise a wonderful moment of pleasure and escape.
The descent towards the pittoresque hamlet of La Comballaz is mellow, without any difficulties. The return to Les Mosses take its first stretch on the cantonal road then continues through the pastures on the flank of Pic Chaussy.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
