Tannenboden-Seebenalp-Weg
Overview
Intro
The winter hiking path to Seebenalp offers a fantastic view to Churfirsten and Walensee. At the destination three mountain lakes lined by fir trees form a mystical scenery.
Description
From the Tannenbodenalp the hiking path leads up to the tranquillity of Seebenalp. On the route through Winkelzahntälchen there is always something to explore. Animal tracks in the snow, fir trees full of snow and sometimes completely snow-covered huts.
Then the path crosses the flank of Stellikopf. There it offers a fantastic view to Walensee and the horizontally protruding mountain range of Churfirsten on the other side of the lake.
Over a hilltop the destination of the hiking tour is then reached: the three mountain lakes lined by fir trees in the valley of Seebenalp form a mystical scenery for the mountain restaurant Seebenalp, which is located at the shore of Grosssee with its impressive silhouette for already more than 100 years. The return journey follows the same route. You return to the Tannenbodenalp along the same route.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
