Stepping into the ski or snowboard bindings, holding the lead and letting a horse pull you across the snow-covered fields – this is skijoring.
Skijoring is said to be over 4000 years old. Even back then, the Laplanders used reindeer and skis to travel through the snow. Here in the mountains of the Vaud region, the ancient tradition has been practiced for a good 20 years. High time to dash across the fields like the Lapps – pulled by 1 HP.
