Zermatt Snow Park
Overview
Intro
Zermatt Snow Park has something to appeal to every freestyler, regardless of whether they are a pro or a rookie. The creative setup with big chairs, kicker lines and rails promises action and spectacular and varied runs.
In winter, Zermatt Snow Park is located on the lower part of the Theodul Glacier, right next to the Furggsattel Gletscherbahn, at 3,250 metres above sea level. From Zermatt it can be reached via the new Matterhorn glacier ride or the Trockener Steg - Matterhorn glacier paradise aerial cableway or via the Furggsattel chairlift. Zermatt’s winter snow park is open from October to the end of May.
The facts: over a length of 1,200 metres, there are creative lines for all levels to make every freestyler’s heart beat faster. The spectacular big chairs, long kicker lines, rails, casual obstacles, smooth transitions, plus the unique view, sun and - thanks to the glacier - perfect natural snow make every session a real treat.
Since the 19/20 winter season, winter sports fans of all ages can look forward to an action-packed and fun new descent. Zermatt Snow Park has a new fun slope that has plenty to offer both beginners and advanced skiers. Tunnels, hills, small jumps, rapid steep wall curves and all kinds of obstacles can be negotiated on the creative route. So strap on your ski boots and get ready for a wild ride.
