Why take a route where you have to cycle back the way you came when you’ve reached the end? Extreme cyclist Patrick Seabase says, “Precisely for that reason.” He thinks dead-end routes are a hidden treasure in Switzerland. “The sights that await you when you ride them are beyond imagining.” Dead-end routes may not be the most pleasurable to ride, but they reward whoever takes them on.
