Diemtig Valley is Switzerland's most important Alpine pasture farming commune; about 107 Alpine farms graze 8,000 large ruminants here in summer. Four meadows offer memorable days of experiences with Alpine farmers.
Menigwald, Stierenseeberg, Ausser Mittelberg and Wysshalti/Hösel Alpine farms welcome guests for a day of culinary experiences with overnight accommodation. Guests can also help out in stables, milk cows or make cheese. The rewards: culinary treats such as tangy cheese and bread, a meat platter or grandma's rösti.
