Visiting a micro coffee roastery and learn to roast coffee yourself
Overview
Intro
Gain insight into the world of coffee - In the micro roastery El Imposible Roasters, visitors can learn about green coffee, participate in the coffee roasting process, and taste different kinds of coffees in their various forms of preparation.
The micro roastery El Imposible Roasters in Horw is involved in the entire process of the coffee - from the cultivation of the green beans, roasting, coffee brewing machines, and finally the product our consumers drink. The small roastery sources the green coffee beans through direct trade with El Salvador and Uganda. El Imposible Roasters roast these green coffee beans in the roastery to create high quality coffee . The philosophy and goal of the young roastery team is to offer traceable and fair coffee from crop to cup.
The roastery offers group tours on various coffee-related topics. A tour will include learning about coffee cultivation as well as the harvest and processing of green coffee. Visitors can discover the story of how a particular coffee travels from its country of origin, how roasting transforms green coffee, and the brewing methods we use to create different tasting experiences. El Imposible Roasters is excited to offer visitors a close look at how coffee is roasted and will guide them in roasting coffee themselves. In addition to valuable information about coffee cultivation, harvest, and roasting, a visit will also include a full sensory experience. El Imposible Roasters provides visitors with the opportunity to smell, taste, and experience each of our different kinds of coffees that we prepare in a variety of ways.
