This delightful water playground is set in an idyllic glade with a stream and a waterfall at Furt on the Pizol. A refreshing family destination in the Heidiland holiday region.
Plenty of wet fun for the children is assured in the Water Woods with its canals, water jets and marble runs. Right next to the forest glade, there is the Vogeldörfli (Birds’ Village), an open-air museum with self-built birdhouses. The children may built a birdhouse of their own and put it on display. There are also barbecue sites in the Water Woods where you can grill a sausage to keep you going between games.
To get to the Water Woods playground, take the gondola from Wangs to the Furt mountain station. It is then only another five minutes on foot from the mountain restaurant. Four children’s gondolas have been lovingly decorated with marmots, gentian and edelweiss.
