Sarah & Chad on their wedding at Spiez castle
“In June 2018, we hosted the destination wedding of Sarah & Chad from NY City here in the heart of the Jungfrau Region. To get Spiez Castle, where their symbolic ceremony was to be held, we hired an Excalibur Phaeton IV – and it was definitely worth it."
"They could enjoy the panorama view of the Bernese Oberland on the way to the castle. The symbolic ceremony took place in the 8th century church of Spiez Castle. This is one of our absolute favourite venues, since the raised altar ensures a really special experience for couples. The ceremony, which our secular wedding officiant arranged with Sarah and Chad in advance, was very emotional and intimate. After the couple exchanged their vows and rings, the team at Spiez Castle prepared a delicious aperitif with local specialty meats and cheeses, fresh bread and wine from the castle cellar. The couple had an extended photography session in the vicinity of the castle as well as in the Swiss Alps surrounding the magical Lake of Thun. Sarah and Chad were fully satisfied with their destination wedding thanks to our trusted partners. With its world-class infrastructure, efficiency and professional service-oriented mentality, Switzerland can accommodate large and small weddings and caters to all traditions. Couples can enjoy their stay here to the fullest while leaving the planning to the professionals.” Lukas Zeller, Switzerland Wedding Company.
“We had the best wedding we could ever hope for. Nearly every guest told us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended, which came as no surprise thanks to the gorgeous weather and mountain views. The pieces performed by the string quartet could not have been more perfect. The Excalibur car was a highlight for my dad, and my mom tells me that he brags about it whenever people ask about the wedding. We could keep going on and on about all the wonderful little extras our wedding planner provided.” Sarah & Chad
