Ice rinks

In winter, the artificial ice rink puts a smile on the faces of children and adults alike. It can be reserved for sports groups or schools, according to the regulations of the municipal administration. Ice skates can be hired upon request.

In winter, the Bundesplatz is transformed into an ice skating paradise.

The Patinoires du Littoral ice rink complex has two covered ice rinks that are joined together by an ice corridor, enabling skaters to move from one rink to the other during the opening times reserved for public skating.

Figure skating, ice hockey or curling: the outdoor ice rink at Château-d’Oex opens in mid-October and is a great place to spend countless hours ice skating – with the added bonus of breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain chain.

Eishalle Sursee has one ice rink, and during the winter months both young and old skating fans can come here to enjoy many hours of fun on the ice.

The Val d’Anniviers has plenty of facilities for skaters. In winter there is a complementary programme of events, discos on ice and curling tournaments.

The Alpine sports resort in the municipality of Grächen has a natural ice rink at the sports centre. The bistro in the indoor play park is also open at the same time as the ice rink.

The natural ice rink in Avers-Juppa is located at 2,000 metres and open from around mid-December.
