Public Trotti tour with Raiffeisen Trottis

The Trotti Tours in the Cheisacher area stand for gentle and sustainable tourism. Originally launched by two private individuals, they have been organized by the city of Laufenburg since 2020. The tours are ideal for anyone who loves movement and nature. Groups of up to 18 people (including children aged 12 and over or with a height of at least 140 cm) can participate. For individuals, public Trotti Tours are offered monthly. The tours take you along forest and field paths, gravel roads, and paved roads. The Cheisacher is an idyllic spot in the Fricktal region of Aargau, surrounded by Gansingen, Laufenburg, and Mönthal. At its highest point (698 m above sea level) stands the Cheisacherturm, a delicate wooden tower built in 2010. A hundred years ago, there was already a surveying tower here. From the tower's platform, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Alps, the Black Forest, and the Vosges. The tower is located in a forest reserve that invites you to relax. PROGRAM The tour starts at the restaurant where you park your car. From there, you will be taken by shuttle bus to the Cheisacherturm. There, you will receive a Trotti, helmet, and a refreshing drink for the stopover (please bring a small backpack). After a short tour of the tower with some interesting information from the guide, the descent begins. Along field and forest paths as well as paved roads, you will enjoy impressive landscapes and idyllic forests. Depending on the duration of the tour, you will arrive at the destination 20 to 90 minutes after the start. PRICE 50 CHF per person 120 CHF per family (with 2–3 children, minimum age 12 years or 140 cm in height).
