The village of Château d'Oex is located in the valley of Gstaad at an ideal altitude of 1000 meters. It is accessible all year round by road or by train (MOB). A wide variety of activities are available. In winter: Alpine skiing and snowboard, (Gstaad Super Ski Region with over 70 ski lifts, etc.), cross-country skiing, sledging and snowshoeing. In summer: tennis, heated outdoor swimming pool, mountain bike trails, river sports, many mountain walking trails.
