Anyone traveling from Bignasco towards Lavizzara is fascinated by this mountainside village that appears to be stuck half way up the mountain directly at the entrance to the valley. But already the journey to Brontallo at 716 meters above sea level offers a series of discoveries and a kind of personal magic spell. Firstly, the stables all look the same, facing the valley and located on the same slope. Then the steep, endless terrace slopes - not to speak of the vertical rock walls above the village.
