1st Augmented Instrument Making Festival
Overview
Intro
To wrap up the 15th-anniversary celebrations, a retrospective of the most significant works created using these tools is planned.
Since 2010, Les Chemins de Traverse has been conducting technical and artistic research on augmented instruments—that is, traditionally crafted instruments whose sonic possibilities are expanded through real-time computer processing. The 2025–2026 season marks the fifteenth anniversary of this ambitious project.
To conclude the fifteenth-anniversary celebrations, a retrospective of the most significant works created using these tools is planned. In the Neuchâtel region, this retrospective will take the form of a three-day festival from November 6 to 8, 2026.
