Concert: Schubert’s *The Trout*
Overview
Intro
Let yourself be swept away by the freshness, poetry and lyricism of Schubert’s unmissable ‘The Trout’.
To kick off this new season, we present one of Franz Schubert’s most famous and iconic works: the ‘Trout’ Quintet.
Inspired by nature and imbued with a fresh, vibrant energy, this work takes the listener on a true musical journey. Across its five movements, Schubert unfolds music that is at once luminous, poetic and deeply lyrical, recognisable by its numerous modulations and rich harmonies.
A true symbol of nature and eternal youth, ‘The Trout’ offers a musical experience full of contrasts, where gentleness, liveliness and emotion come together. A wonderful way to kick off the season and rediscover all the finesse and modernity of Schubert’s musical language.
