unerhört!
Overview
Intro
The unerhört! festival has been dedicated to current jazz events for more than 20 years and takes place from 21st to 30th of November in various cultural venues in Zurich and Winterthur.
It's time again for a ten-day musical adventure: let yourself be surprised by the parallelism of styles and forms of expression, the polyphony, amazing alliances and special stages. The fantasy of unconventional music and the wondrous art form of jazz, which in its current open form does not allow for any stylistic blinkers, are at the center of a wide-ranging musical universe.
Following the central spirit of networking, unerhört! combines various cultural venues in Zurich and Winterthur to create a melting pot for musical innovation. Enjoy the atmosphere in the various venues and experience how the different contexts reflect the individuality of the musicians. Music thus also responds to questions that spaces, places and processes of cultural production bring with them.
Looking back to the future, the past, present and future enter into fascinating combinations in the festival program. A kaleidoscope of sounds and rhythms awaits you. Immerse yourself in the musical diversity and get involved in the soundtrack of topicality, in which different lines of tradition meet.
