This route is a scenic high-light: the mighty Mythen, Druesberg, Roggenstock and other snowy Alpine peaks as well as unobstructed views towards Zurich and Central Switzerland. A flowing single-trail experience for beginners and mountain biking enthusi-asts alike.

Description
The route starts and ends at the Laucheren valley station in Oberiberg. As an alternative, use the valley station of the Rotenflue gondola in Rickenbach. 1,700 of the roughly 2,000 metres in altitude difference can be negotiated by gondola or chairlift. Hence even beginners can enjoy a delightful mountain biking experience with amazing panoramic views.
After the second chair lift, the one up to the Sternen mountain station, the route’s highest point is reached. From there, a scenic ridge trail leads to Ibergeregg – with the Muotatal on one side and views of Zurich in the distance on the other. This section largely consists of a gravel road, with short and partly technical climbs adding variety. After the top of Ibergeregg pass, a delightful single-trail leads down to the Rotenflue valley station in Rickenbach. Plenty of flow surrounded by a magnificent landscape with views of Lake Lucerne, interrupted only by a short but steep climb from the hamlet of Aufiberg to Gibelwald.
From the valley, a gondola takes visitors along the Grosse Mythen up to Rotenflue. Another gravel road brings you back to the top of Ibergeregg pass. This time the route leads to the other side of the mountain: Following the historic «alter Schwyzerweg», you return to the Laucheren valley station in Oberiberg. Along the way, a number of mountain restaurants offer food and drinks as well as spectacular views.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
