Sunrise and honey ‘tartine’ on a mountaintop

Bread and honey and a herbal tea while you watch the sunrise at an altitude of 2,400m.

Heidi reveals the recipe for her invigorating cocktail. Guaranteed energy for the whole day ! At dawn, when nature stirs from her sleep, take a path up through the mountain pastures, guided by the light of your headlamp.  On the path uphill, which takes around 1.5 hours at a steady pace, you’ll feel your body waking up in the fresh morning air.

On arrival, you can marvel at the fascinating alpine panorama as the peaks are bathed in pink from the first rays of sunlight. The views down to the valley below and the peacefulness of the surroundings will leave you with unforgettable memories.

You will return to the resort mid-morning, leaving you time to shower before starting your day with a sparkle in your eyes.

Waterfalls, pastures and nature observation will also be on the agenda on the way back.

Technical details

• 4 hours (1.5 hours of which are uphill at a steady pace).

• 10 km and 600m climb +/-Easy paths but the last few metres are slightly vertiginous.

Conditions

• Reservation deadline: 3 days in advance.

• Meeting time: 2 hours before sunrise. The exact time is communicated 24 hours before the day of the activity.

• Depending if the minimum number of participants is not reached by the booking deadline, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the activity with a full refund to the client already registered.

• Headlamp

• Shoes and clothing suitable for mountain activities and the weather conditions

• Walking sticks if desired

• Sunglasses

• Drinks and snacks if you need them

• Warm clothing for when you arrive at the summit (gloves and hats will be handy whilst you’re waiting for the first rays of sun)
