Wild- und Naturbeobachtung Chäserrugg
Overview
Intro
Experience the unique evening atmosphere in the impressive natural and mountain world of Toggenburg.
On this guided hike, you will discover the fascinating flora and fauna of the region and follow in the footsteps of ibex, chamois and other wild animals.
After the ascent by chairlift and cable car to the Chäserrugg, you can enjoy the tranquillity and vastness of the high plateau, "Rosenboden", before setting off on foot towards the valley. The descent takes you through a spectacular karst area, characterised by bizarre rock formations and alpine vegetation. You are guaranteed exciting insights into the geological features and ecosystem of this unique landscape.
If you are lucky, you may encounter native wild animals along the way, which are particularly active at dusk. As the sun slowly disappears behind the peaks, we experience the magic of the mountain world in a very special light.
