Description
From the Blau Herd intermediate station of the cable car that connects Sunnegga with the Rothorn, you come to Stelli Lake, where you can see the Matterhorn from a different perspective. Against this impressive backdrop, you will find the mountain hotel and restaurant, which nestles against the slope directly behind the lake. The large terrace with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal amidst the breathtaking scenery.
Although the hotel and restaurant offers accommodation during the summer season, it is primarily a destination for hikers looking for lunch or a snack. The menu features local Valais Alpine specialties such as cheese, wine and dried meat, as well as a wide selection of pasta dishes.
