The Ferienhaus Erlensand is situated in Gluringen in the Goms valley in Valais canton (Switzerland). Gluringen lies on altitude of 1330 metres (4360 ft). The Erlensand was built in 1965.
Beside the dining room, there are 2 further rooms in the house that can be used as playing or day rooms etc.
The Erlensand is situated outside the village. In winter, it lies right by the well-known Gommer cross-country skiing trail. A skiing lift for beginners and intermediate skiers is in the village of Gluringen (5 mins). Fiesch, with its beautiful skiing area Kühboden, can be reached by train or by car in 20 minutes.
In summer, the much frequented Rotten trail leads past the Erlensand. In front of the house, there is a natural playground with its own equipment. In a 10 minutes' walk over the beautiful Rotten trail, you get to a lovely outdoor swimming pool. Near the house, you will find a marvellous alder forest with several campfire sites, tables and benches.
The holiday home Erlensand is located at the bicycle route number 1.
