Zernez (1474 m/ 4,835 ft) is the gateway to the Swiss National Park and an ideal starting point for excursions towards the Lower Engadine (Scuol), the Upper Engadine (St. Moritz, Pontresina), via the Flüela Pass to Davos or via the Ofen Pass into the Münster Valley. Getting there

How to get there: By car from Zurich approx. 2.5 hours via A3 and A13, exit 14 Landquart, follow route 28 to Vereina tunnel in Klosters-Serneus, Vereina Zug (subject to a charge), then take route 27 to Zernez, follow the main road for about 1 km. Our house is on the right side. Or via the Flüela Pass (if open). By train from Zurich: With the ICE in direction Chur. Change in Landquart. Regional train to Zernez. From Zernez train station, a 3-minute walk in direction of the town center.
