Built in 1905 in elegant Art Nouveau style, this hotel has been in family hands since 1945 and is now run by the grandson of the man who built it. After undergoing extensive modernization, it now has 3 suites, 17 double and 12 single rooms, all of them comfortably furnished and fitted with all mod cons. What has not changed is the old world tradition of the place. The Ambassador is situated in a quiet but central location, just 200 m from the station. It is therefore an ideal starting point for excursions up to the nearby Alpine passes or into the Swiss Alps – a UNESCO World Heritage site.
