On request, a 3-course dinner is provided in the evening. In summer the Goms area is a great base for hiking, biking and motorbike trips. Right next to the Hotel Walliser Sonne, there is ski school and a gentle slope for beginners and children. The ski areas of Fiesch-Riederalp-Bettmeralp, Bellwald, and the famous Aletsch Glacier are easily reachable by public transport. A 100-km network of cross-country ski runs and hiking paths is only 500 metres away. Guests can be picked up from the Gluringen Train Station on request. The hotel’s owner speaks, English.
